In the Radiology department, which serves its patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, reports are prepared and the diagnosis and treatment process is accelerated. Ultrasound or ultrasonography is one of the imaging methods that modern medicine cannot give up. The most important difference of ultrasound from other imaging methods that help to understand what is going on inside the human body is that it does not use X-rays to achieve this purpose, that is, it does not contain radiation, instead it uses sound waves at a frequency that the human ear cannot hear. Another positive feature is that the obtained image is in real time, that is, the image can be viewed on the monitor screen during the process. Ultrasound, which has been used in medicine for more than 40 years, has now entered routine practice in obstetrics and has become an indispensable component of gynecological examination and pregnancy follow-up.
